PHOTOGRAPHY

Paul Pablo Martin

After borrowing, if not outright stealing my Dad’s nickname, I started Martini Productions as a website where I could post my ideas, writings, and photos to share with whoever was interested. It wasn’t a company back then, but a forum for my media interests outside of the classroom (that’s me as a high school teacher over there—classic).
This was back in the late ‘90s when dial-ups were the norm and posting video was very difficult to do. When digital video became a viable medium around 2000, I began offering video editing, instruction, and archiving services to the community. My first product was a video yearbook that I provided to the junior lifeguard program I was working with. When I realized that my customers were more interested in still images than movies, I shifted my focus to photography and I haven’t looked back since.
Initially offering only basic photography services to one junior lifeguard program, I now offer a wide range of services to a variety of action-sports camps. I also provide family portraits.
Despite my strong focus in photography, I’m still involved in videography as well. I have produced many videos for both clients and friends over the past few years. I am looking to build this component of my business in the years to come.
Beyond that, I hope to bring Martini Productions back to its roots a little bit, too, engaging with and sharing new (and old) ideas among the greater community.
